Zohre Zarshenas

Iranologist and a university Professor of Iranian Ancient Languages and Culture at the Institute for Humanities and Cultural Studies (IHCS) , Head of the Faculty of Linguistics (1996-2011), Head of the Department of Ancient and Middle Iranian Languages and Culture (1991-2011) and Head of the department of Iranian Studies in the Iranology Foundation (since 2005). She is chief editor and Member of editorial board of Zaban-Shenakht (since 2011). She is member of SIE, ISFNR, AIS, ASPS, and member of the board of Association for Iranian Studies of Iran. Some of her works are Manual of Sogdian Language, An Introduction to Iranology, and Sogdian Tales.
